Voip phone hardware

You don't need to buy any hardware to make use of our service. However, if you would like to make calls and even receive calls without using your computer, you have a few options to choose from.

Voip Adapters

Voip adapters or ATA's (Analogue Telephone Adapter) convert the internet phone signal to your normal analogue phone. Normally these adapters allow you to make the selection between using the normale telephone network or a voip service like Ultivoice by pressing the star or pound key on your normal (cordless) telephone.

Voip telephones

Voip telephones look like normal telephones, the difference is they have a network port instead of a normal telephone plug.

To setup your voip hardware follow the supplied user manual, normally these configuration items are needed:

1. Go to configuration, settings, options or accounts
2. Add a SIP account, lookup the next two details in your account pages on our website.
3. For the user name or login name use the Card ID we sent you by e-mail.
4. For the password or 'secret' use the password we sent you by e-mail.
5. For the domain or proxy use sip.ultivoice.com
6. Save the settings, enter the phone number you would like to call without leading zero's or plus signs.
